  • Bam! Big Ghostdini back once again with BadBadNotGood to bring you a whole LP worth of that good-good. We all know that 10" they dropped together wasn't nearly enough, so here's the full album, all 12 tracks worth. By now all you Lab heads should be familiar with BBNG, the Toronto jazz trio doing big things, and here they are laying down some incredibly cinematic beats inspired by the 60's and 70's jazz-funk for the backdrop to Tony Starks' impeccable flow. Ghostface's story-telling raps are still some of the sharpest in the game, and the combination over the live instrumentation is match made in heaven. Check the sound on the title track "Sour Soul," "Six Degrees" with Danny Brown, "Gunshowers" with Elzhi of Slum Village, "Mind Playing Tricks On Me," and "Raygun" with DOOM. 2020 repress on 180 gram vinyl, recommended.
