Fifth studio album from New York folk revivalist Gillian Welch. The Harrow & The Harvest was originally released in 2011, eight years after the release of Soul Journey. The Grammy nominated album was composed in the studio by Welch and producer David Rawlings, and contains mostly first and second takes. Includes the songs: "The Way It Goes," "Hard Times," and "Scarlet Town." Ten tracks in all. Released by Acony Records on black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve.
