Madlib's take. Madvillainy 2 The Madlib Remix was previously only available as part of the Madvillainy 2 Boxset and a small batch of white label pressings (which flew out of the Lab with the quickness back in the day), but now it finally sees a proper reissue complete with full pic sleeve. The original Madvillainy remains one of the illest collabs of all time, with MF Doom arguably at his amoeba genius prime, mixed with the unpredictable stoned beat aesthetics of Madlib. For the remix, blunted one revisits the project and gives fresh beats to the classic collab effort (apparently he made it for personal headphone listening right before a 10 hour flight to Tokyo!). Recommended.
