He worked with longtime producer Tony Visconti to craft an album that includes elements of art rock, jazz, and experimental rock. Bowie's lyrics seem to revolve around his impending death as he grapples with his own mortality. If anything, Blackstar proves that Bowie continually pushed the envelope, refusing to cater to the expectations of critics and fans. Throughout his career he remained in the vanguard and left it up to us to catch up to him. Includes the songs: "Lazarus," "Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)," and "I Can't Give Everything Away."
