I'm trying really hard not to shed a tear (or pop wood) as I write this review. Master Of Puppets (one of several recent Metallica reissues) was such a powerful force in my youth. When nighttime meant being locked in your room until the sun came up, Master Of Puppets was your portal to another dimension that had nothing akin to what was on TV or in your school. Yeah, every time I check out new metal releases for the shop, I'm not surprised that no one has ever reached these depths. Slashing through the boundaries, lunacy has found me... this shit is untouchable. Official reissue on Metallica's own imprint Blackened Recordings. According to the label, audio is identical to the original Elektra releases.
