  • Pac's second full length from '93. I remember copping this on tape just for "I Get Around," but after listening to it again for the first time in years there's definitely more to the album. This was at a pivotal time in his career, as he wasn't completely THUG LIFE'd out as he was on Death Row (though he was getting there), and he still had a connection with his Digital Underground fam for the funky, party side of things. Check some of the flavors - "Holler If Ya Hear Me, " "Guess Who's Back," and the title track, as well as forgotten collabos like "Last Wordz" with Ice Cube and Ice T, "5 Deadly Venomz" with Treach and Apache. Of course he had his poetic side to balance out all the rowdiness with "Keep Ya Head Up." Limited edition 2LP pressing.

    • 25th anniversary edition
    • black double vinyl pressing
    • first time on vinyl in 15+ years
    • original release year: 1993
    • music label: Interscope 2018
