Lab Overview

Wicked sharp lyricism with experimentalist analog beats. Aesop Rock has been credited as one of the most verbose and on-point MC's in Hip-Hop today (do a quick google search for "Largest Vocabulary In Hip Hop" to see what I mean). Combine that with TOBACCO aka Black Moth Super Rainbow and you have a special project on your hands, Malibu Ken. The distorted, experimental beats of TOBACCO are a perfect backdrop for Aesop Rock to lay down his effusive and rhapsodic lyrics, and this project does NOT dissapoint. The record package itself is worth the cost alone, featuring a die cut 12” gatefold jacket with matte uv finish on blue colored vinyl, a 4-panel LP size insert containing full album lyrics, and perforated pop out wearable mask with elastic string. Songs to check out are the opener "Corn Maze," "Tuesday," "Save Our Ship" and "Sword Box." 10 tracks in all released by Rhymesayers Entertainment.
