Smooth, seductive house and r&b boogie from down under. Melbourne's Andras Fox teams up with vocalist Oscar Key once again for another trip to the Cafe on Dopeness Galore. Cafe Romantica follows up their previous effort, Embassy Cafe with a bit more of a refined sound, while still maintaining that dreamy, lo-fi vibe. The combination of retro synths and drum machines with Oscar's smooth as silk vocals reminds us of 90's Larry Heard mixed with a bit of Loose Ends, and a touch of Environ, and that's defnintely a good thing! Check the style on "Friendship Theme," "Everytime I Go," "Make It Better"... actually the whole thing is awesome so do yourself a favor and add to cart. Recommended.
