  • Sophomore studio album from the Bahamas' Beginning Of The End. Beginning Of The End followed on the success of the band's debut, Funky Nassau, but did not find the success of its predecessor. Made up of Fred Henfield on bass guitar, Leroy Munnings on lead guitar, Frank Munnings on drums, and Raphael Munnings, the youngest member, contributing vocals and keyboards, the band cultivated a funk sound with heavy rock and soul influences. They incorporate island vibes as well, with touches of calypso, salsa and afro beat appearing throughout the record. It's an energetic and festive affair that makes you wonder what happened to such a tight outfit. Without wide release it's been hard to find copies of the band's eponymous album until now. Fresh pressing to get you into the groove.
