  • Second solo full length from Big Boi on purple marble vinyl! Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors follows 2009's Sir Lucious Left Foot and finds Big Boi reaching out and collaborating with a wide (and somewhat surprising) range of artists - from rap contemporaries Ludacris, T.I. and Kid Cudi, to indie favorites Phantogram, Little Dragon, and Wavves. As expected, the production is top notch throughout - whether its a pop-friendly bangers like "CPU" and "Objectum Sexuality" with Phantogram or hard-hitting club cuts like "In The A" with Luda & T.I., or smooth joints like "The Thickets" with Sleepy Brown - Big Boi delivers in aces on the boards as well as on the mic. Hopefully some of this gets injected into mainstream airwaves to freshen things up! 14 tracks spread over 2LPs. Recommended.
