  • Now on double silver vinyl with bonus 45! Doesn't seem like too long ago we were hearing the buzz on Black Milk's Popular Demand and the inevitable "next Dilla" comparisons, and now Detroit's young star returns with his third album for Fat Beats. Tronic features fewer samples, more live instrumentation and almost no guest verses, although the underground stars who did come along for the ride really shine: Royce Da 5'9" on the stuttering, high-speed sampling "Losing Out," Pharoahe Monch and Sean Price (RIP) on "The Matrix" (with cuts by DJ Premier) and AB on the slumpy "Reppin' For U." Dwele plays flugel horn(!) on "Long Story Short," and easily the best cut of the album comes in the form of lead single "Give The Drummer Sum." 14 tracks total with bonus 7" featuring 5 unreleased beats.

    • double silver vinyl repress
    • bonus 45 featuring 5 unreleased beats
