Lab Overview

These dudes sure know how to pick 'em. For the second installment of Galaxy Sound Co.'s 45 series, BlackCash & Theo return with a pair of bonafide funk heaters. Ronnie Keaton's "Going Down For The Last Time" is up first and is one of those top tier joints that is high on collector want lists (last one sold for $450 on the 'bay). The edit is subtle but effective so you can do your best Shadow or Cut Chemist impression in the mix. Flip side features Maggie Thrett's "Soupy," another lost funk jam that has been sampled by Prince Paul and De La Soul. BC & T do the track right with a proper edit that'll put smiles on faces all across the dancefloor.
