Blur
Leisure (180g, Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP
Food / Parlophone
↳ debut album from the britpop stars, 25th anniversary remaster

Before they fully embraced Britpop the band formerly known as Seymour were on some sort of Madchester trip. Their debut, Leisure, was built on the strength of the baggy sounding singles, "She's So High" and "There's No Other Way." Along with the beat driven tracks they took shoegaze explorations, traveled through Syd Barrett psychedelia and indulged in the eerie, entrancing minor-key drone of the Velvet Underground. They showed a penchant for pop on tracks like "Bang" and got into feedback and effects. A strong lead off from a band that would go on to define mid 90s Britpop. This is the 25th anniversary reissue on colored vinyl with fully remastered sound. Limited edition.
