Almost every slice of Careful starts with the same toolkit - carefully-sculpted arp bassline, no-frills bass and drum riddims, peppered with orch stabs and occasional synth swells - before setting off down its own rabbithole; a familiar sound that’s equal parts Nitzer Ebb, T.G., Depeche Mode and Eurythmics without aping anything or anyone. Highlights include “Lost,” “Fate,” “LA,” “The Look You Gave (Jerry)” and “Face The Fire.” Indie exclusive white vinyl pressing with lyric sheet, recommended.
