  • Brawther's release on My Love Is Underground was one of the biggest underground records of 2012 (#2 on Discogs' end of year list). This Parisian producer is very much the it producer in the deep house / dub techno world right now. Every one of his releases are highly in demand (this particular release was going for $50 and it came out in 2011). Gotta step in and defend my city and say that this stuff sounds like NYC house records that have been pumped out since the mid-nineties. However, it's not to say that this is not quality. Brawther definitely has the production finesse needed to execute this sound (it's real easy to make bad house). And if you play this on a dark dancefloor, it will have more than the desired effect. I'm especially feeling the deep "GSMS Life" here, Snack likes the darker "Le Voyage." Judging by the secondary market, you should probably jump on this quick.
