"An essential purchase for anyone remotely interested in punk's history." Love Bites was the second studio album by the English punk rock band Buzzcocks. Originally released in 1978, just two years after their debut Another Music in a Different Kitchen, Love Bites was recorded and mixed by Buzzcocks with producer Martin Rushent over a two-and-a-half-week span just six months after the release of their debut. It's an album that finds the band coming into their own, equally energetic as their debut, but more musically accomplished. Love Bites perfects the bands particular brand of pop + punk while sticking true to their disillusionment of restrictions. The result is an album that will remain at the front of your collection. Includes the hit "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)" as well as "E.S.P.," "Nothing Left," and "Nostalgia." High quality remaster restored from the original 1/4" tapes pressed on white vinyl. Comes with a recreation of the Buzzcocks' classic carrier bag, as well as a booklet featuring unseen photos and liner notes by Jon Savage. Download code included. 11 tracks in all released by Domino.
