PPU stay funky. Release number 77 from our favorite funk label comes by way of the homie Benedek and his funky posse (including Jamma-Dee). The lo-fi synth funk vibe is just oozing off the wax on C.O.O.L. Band's "Jam I," which sounds like a live jam session of the highest (and funkiest) caliber. Max D (of Beautiful Swimmers fame) steps in on the assist, editing the jam to fit perfectly on the A-side. Manzanem takes up the flip with "Don't Interupt" that pushes the tempo up into laid back house territory. Fans of Mood Hut, Future Times, or Arcane should be all over this.
