The album is inspired by their suburban Northern California upbringing (in Davis to be exact) and is in effect, a much more personal and complex listen than their 2013 debut, Bigfoot. Here the twin brothers expand their sonic horizons, exploring all manner of sentimental and sometimes melancholy pop, all washed in very Californian vibes (I mean c'mon, they have a song called "Hella"). Check the irresistibly catchy single "Moony Eyed Walrus," "Ditches," the epic opener "Big Winter Jacket," and the title track "Dancing At The Blue Lagoon" for a taste.
