Lab Overview

S/O to Prince Klassen who dropped this locally cooked-up heat during his LIVE! AT THE LAB (check archived shows on Soundcloud!) set earlier this year! New York's Cho and The Random Impetus collaborates with local musicians and records with analog equipment (peep the band's 'Gram), utilizing jazz, funk, soul and disco melodies to create rich 1970s-esque experiences. The debut release from the band is just that; "Brother Sister" is a feel-good modern disco that could easily pass as something from the heyday of the genre, and flip the record over for "Candle Lights," another sure-shot tune very much in line with Cho & Random Impetus' M.O. This one's a no-brainer for DJs!
