  • “She does all the things that I like” - we all know the type. Not much info surrounding this faceless slice of electric boogie by unknown outfit Circuitry, credited only to Electro Wayne & Lo Joe (?). We’re inclined to believe this is another lost 80’s boogie gem unearthed by the PPU crew, as previous releases from Dwight Sykes, Midnight Express & Uku Kuut (RIP!) have been, but modern funk enthusiasts like Benedek and Moon B have gotten so good at nailing this sound, who even knows anymore. The A-side is a beyond-legit slice of uptempo funk with a decadent synth lead and catchy-AF hook. This could have easily been a late 80s club smash by Dynasty or Mtume. Instrumental version included for shook DJs. “Under Pressure” on the B-side is the one we’re reaching for though, with a cheeky Prince-esque drum machine rhythm and minimal synth bassline primed for pure dancefloor sleaze. Recommended.
