The rarest album recorded by French cult band Cortex. Although not as heavily sampled as their debut album (the sublime Troupeau Bleu), 1977's Vol. 2 is equally satisfying with so many moments of euro jazz-funk madness and atmospheric bliss. This fully instrumental album is what you imagine a euro-rarity to sound like: moody keys, tight drums, the ill bassist in the corner (with the cover to match of course). Limited edition reissue pressing of 500 copies (apparently the final reissue), don't sleep! Recommended.
