Lab Overview

Repressed by popular demand! Originally released back in 2009, Cottam's "Untitled" 12" has been something of an underground secret weapon for those in the know. Both sides are killer, but the untitled B-side cut is money in the bank - a loose and funky rework of Bola Johnson's "Lagos Sisi," the track keeps the crowd moving with afro funk vibes over steady chugging beats. One of those endless grooves that seemingly stops time on the dancefloor.  A-side cut takes a techier approach, reworking elements of Angie Stones' "Pissed Off." The initial 300 copy pressing sold out to those in the know resulting in pricey second hand copies, but thankfully Cottam has given us a much needed reissue. Pressed up with incognito labels and comes housed in black paper sleeve. Recommended.
