Mondo Records has officially licensed key tracks from five classic Hayao Miyazaki films and put them together in this super deluxe, double vinyl package. The role that music plays in Miyazaki films is equally important as the visuals, and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra really brings the stories to life. From the climactic strings from Princess Mononoke, to the nostalgic moods from Spirited Away, and the hopeful atmosphere from Howl's Moving Castle - all the best moments have been carefully selected and compiled. 13 tracks in all (with tracks from The Cat Returns and My Neighbors The Yamadas as well) spread over one red and one blue record. Comes packaged in beautiful gatefold sleeve featuring art by Tyler Stout, complete with insert and obi strip. Limited edition, recommended.
