  • Sixth studio album from Australia's Dead Can Dance. Into The Labyrinth was originally recorded in early 1993 and was the first album where the duo of Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry played all instruments, without guest any musicians. They draw on a variety of influences to craft a music that is distinctly their own. Raga drones, Gerrard's beautiful glossolalia, Eastern scales and gently rolling percussion are all present as the album slowly unfolds. Includes the songs: "The Ubiquitous Mr Lovegrove," "The Carnival Is Over," and "Yulunga (Spirit Dance)." Thirteen tracks in all. Released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab on double vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve.
