Seventh studio album from Atlanta's well traveled Deerhunter. Fading Frontier was originally recorded in 2015 and in the wake of a car crash that left front man Bradford Cox seriously injured. Although they seem to have adopted a slightly more mainstream sound with this release there is still plenty of weirdness bubbling beneath the surface. The band proves that they still have plenty of uncharted territory to explore. Includes the songs: "All the Same," "Duplex Planet," and "Carrion." Nine tracks in all. Released by 4AD.
