  • Must have material for the heads out there. Cascade collects interpretations of cuts from Delano Smith's two albums for Sushitech and there are some pretty heavy hitters in the lineup. Berghain resident and MDR head honcho Marcel Dettmann and dub techno stalwart Convextion will probably be the most familiar names. Don't stop there, though as Oracy's ultra spacious take on "Free To Explore" is one of the top tracks of the release. If you like your kicks heavy then look no further than Makam's interpretation of the same track. Yes, it may be indebted to Basic Channel and DeepChord but I'm not gonna complain when the music is this good. Old school UK technician Steve O'Sullivan takes it back to his roots on "Behind The Shadows," while Convextion gets ambient with his rework of "Inspiration." Quality material from some of techno's best.
