Lab Overview

What's in a name? Ice Tits comes through with some dubby techno tuneage, despite the double-take inducing DJ name. The mysterious producer's 12" vinyl debut for Danger Close takes it there with an impressively deep range landing somewhere between the sound of pioneers like Aphex Twin, the Chain Reaction label, or more contemporary underground artists like CB-R. Check the killer "DR0052" that breaks the expected 4/4 with some intricate drum programming, the hypnotic "DR0222," or the expansive "DR0043" for a taste. Also includes the mesmerizing robo-bounce of "Gas Station part 4" and the absolutely beautiful ambient number "Song For RDJ." Recommended.
