DJ K stay slayin'. The Japanese DJ/producer follows a up string of killer edit 12"s with another surehot for the soulfully-inclined dance floor. This time around the Prince's lesser played jam "Chelsea Rodgers" gets treated to a repectful re-work that keeps that purple vibe flowing freely to the crowd. Up next Hubert Laws' "Family" is given a similar treatment, while Donald Smith's version of his brother Lonnie Liston-Smith's classic "Expansions" rounds out another stellar 12". Recommended.
