Time to grab some beers with Sex Tags founder DJ Sotofett. It may be more than a few years since Frak dropped their sought after Borft EP on Sotofett's Sex Tags Mania, but the Norwegian producer is here to return the favor with his own Borft EP. Deep and trippy house vibes pervade the release, which starts out in some nicely dubby territory. The A side is relatively straightforward for Sotofett, but the solid rhythm tracks keep things moving. "Ol Pa SM-Art Bar" opens the B side with some dark, pitched down Belgian New Beat feels, before the bell heavy ambiance of "Drikkepause" breaks things up. He closes out the EP with the EBM warehouse sleaze of "Nekta Ol Par City Club." And it appears from there we've been cutoff for the night. Recommended.
