This potent combination of musical minds resulted in not only the Nitetripper's most commercially successful effort, but also his finest and funkiest work to date. Just peep the rhythm section on the title track "In The Right Place" for a taste - goddamn that's fonky! John's howling Nawlins vocals are made so much more palatable by the swamp funk laid down by the quartet, as evident throughout tracks like "Shoo Fly Marches On," "I Been Hoodood," "Same Old Same Old," "Qualified," and "Traveling Mood." Limited swirl-colored 180 gram vinyl pressing with triple gatefold sleeve. 11 tracks.
