Ed Banger expanding the boundaries of OST's with their first Original Comic Book Soundtrack! If you've ever sat down with a good comic or graphic novel, you know how some good background music can help immerse you into the story. The gang at Ed Banger realized this and hook up the perfect blend of 80's sci-fi nostalgia and retro-electronic sounds for Vandroid. All the usual suspects turn in some of their finest works, including Krazy Baldhead who wrecks shop on the video game electro into "Start," Feadz who kills it on the euphoric "Party," Mr. Flash who works it on "Payback," and the mysterious 40106 (aka Mickey Moonlight who turns in a couple grimey electronic numbers. Of course label-boss Busy P has a couple entries influenced by that John Carpenter soundtrack style. Apparently this was originally going to be a movie soundtrack, but it also works very well for a comic book, or just going around with your head in the clouds. 13 tracks in all spread over two LPs.
