  • The saga continues... El Michels Affair are back with the long awaited follow-up to the cult classic Enter The 37th Chamber! The Brooklyn funk band does it up big with a razor-sharp cover of the GZA's "4th Chamber" of the classic Liquid Swords album. As expected, EMA does the Wu-sound proper with fuzzed out guitar and synths over heavyweight drums that literally give the OG RZA beat a run for its money. Worth it for this one alone, but the flipside finds El Michels teaming up with the one and only Lee Fields for a sweet bit of stripped down soul. "Snakes" is actually a version of the Ol Dirty Bastard album cut of the same name, with Fields crooning the original vocals while venturing into dark soul territory. It's obvious from these cuts that El Michels Affair stay sharp as ever!
