  • It all started when the El Michels Affair did a live show as the backing band for Raekwon and it was all cream cheese and jelly - completely different than your normal taste and miles beyond your expectations. The guys all hit it off so well that they are embarked on a Shaolin series of Wu-Tang covers, starting with this wicked little two-sider: a-side features a cover of "CREAM" and the b-side sends up "Glaciers Of Ice." Note that these are instrumental interpretations of the hip hop songs, NOT covers of the sample sources. And they are as badass as badass can get - not because they've got the tracks down note for note (that would be super boring) or because there's some awesome drum breaks- these guys just play smart. Seriously, who can do it better than El Michels Affair?

    • black 7" vinyl pressing
