  • Johnny Marr & Bernard Sumner are Electronic. In the late 80s Sumner was getting flack from his New Order band mates for wanting to add more synthesizer parts to their already synth heavy productions. This lead to working on a solo album that felt flat until he called The Smith's Johnny Marr in to collaborate with. Originally intended to be an anonymous project, the duo set out to produce an album heavily inspired by Italo House & other contemporary dance music of the time. After a lengthy recording process their debut album was released to critical success. While it varied in style than originally planned, the album is a perfect mixture of what was happening in England at the time. There are House elements, Brit Pop, Hip Hop, Indie Rock, & Hi NRG throughout. This is the first vinyl reissue of the ground breaking album since its 1991 debut and surely fans will be excited. Remastered and pressed on 180g vinyl.
