The first Express Rising album from 2003 (released on the now defunct Memphix label) is a definite Lab cult classic. We still get inquiries about the record nearly a decade later. Dante Carfagna, the compiler of notable record nerdus releases such as Personal Space and Chains And Black Exhaust, is the mind behind this instrumental musica. Part downtempo (although Carfagna doesn't listen to downtempo), part obscure rock, part something emotional (not emo), part digger mentality, Express Rising is that stuff a small percentage of civilization thirsts for constantly (coincidentally that small percentage probably shops at this website).
