Who doesn't love some to catch a predator kiddie funk? "Misdemeanor" has to be up there on the imaginary list of sheer brilliance. I've heard it hundreds of times, but it still retains its first spin freshness. Plus, this album is far from a one-hit wonder. And this is not surprising for a member of The Sylvers family. If you're into the crisp sound, production quirks, and Foster's sincere delivery, there's a lot more to get into like the sublime "Hey Little Girl," the funky vibes of "Swooperman," the inventive percussion of "I'm Your Puppet," and even the psyche moments of "Lullaby." 11 tracks in all, recommended.
