Freddie Gibbs on Bandana beats: "It's alway something obscure. I mean, some samples are some shit that I never heard of, or some weird ass drums that are hard to rap on." What's different is that the Beat Konducta chose to put down his usual SP-303 workflow in favor of a mobile production suite on his Apple tablet, but the collage of sounds that he is able to cull together is as genius, weird, and & fluid as ever. Check out "Crime Pays," "Flat Tummy Tea," "Half Manne Half Cocaine," and "Giannis."
