Lab Overview

Sonny Moore, before becoming the Prince of dubstep and conqueror of pop charts as Skrillex, was in a band. From First To Last, based in LA and Tampa, Florida, signed with Epitaph Records in 2003, then skipped over to Capitol Records in 2006, and under the two labels, the band recorded 5 albums and toured. So ya, the life Moore is enjoying as a hugely successful, Grammy-winning solo electronic dance music act, he's definitely had a little taste of it before… Anyway, Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Body Count is the group's debut full-length, and really, could they have chosen a better name? Screeching vocals, shredding guitar, driving bass, and aggressive rhythms... In short, 37-minutes of uncut emo/screamo/post-hardcore no-brainer that's held up well since it's release more than 10 years ago! Check out: "The One Armed Boxer vs. the Flying Guillotine," "Note to Self," "Emily," "Populace In Two," and "Secrets Don't Make Friends."
