We could dance the night away. Gary Numan's third solo full length gets the deluxe reissue treatment courtesy of Beggars Banquet. Originally released in 1981, Dance came following a series of so-called "farewell concerts" at Wembley Arena and found Numan exploring deeper musical territory than ever before. Dance may not carry the same instant hits of Pleasure Principle (no "Cars" here), but what it lacks in pop catchiness, it more than makes up for with innovative and varied song writing and complex use of synthesizers. Check out the UK top 10 jam "She's Got Claws," or the dark and brooding "Night Talk," the quirky "Slowcar To China," or the brilliant synth pop of "Stories." Rich purple colored vinyl pressing with gatefold jacket and printed inner sleeves.
