Lab Overview

Heat alert! For the debut release on his freshly minted Kontemporary imprint, veteran DJ/producer Kon gives George Duke a sure shot rework. Duke's 1979 single "I Want You For Myself" is a proven dance floor worker, but here Kon adds his signature touch, giving all the individual elements time to shine to really let the groove seep into your soul. Check the sample and get on down to that nasty slap bass work, those magic keys, and killer vocals - pure dance floor gold! Also included is the original 12" mix, which obviously gets the job done for the purists. Comes in full pic sleeve of Duke rockin' the keytar. Recommended.
