Edit heat from Japan's DJ K. Rather than going the obscure disco route, K breaks you off with a couple sleeper cuts from two big artists... and it doesn't get much bigger that Bob Marley and Gil Scott-Heron! It can get tricky editing beloved tracks from Bob and GSL, but thankfully DJ K rework skills are top notch as he transforms both into sure shots for the contemporary dancefloor. Check the sound on his rework of "Angola Louisiana" complete with careful looping at the buildup, EQ trickery and added percussion to make the floor go off. On the flip, Bob's "Concrete Jungle" gets a drenched in echo and upped to 120 bpm, effectively transforming it into a summer dub-house anthem. Recommended.
