Experimental beats and electronica from Gold Panda on this full-length debut for Ghostly. The styles are relatively diverse, with some tracks falling into the dream, atmospheric column ("Same Dream China," "Marriage," "Parents"), while others have obvious house influences ("Snow & Taxis," "Vanilla Minus"), and others still feature wonky downtempo sounds ("Before We Talked," "After We Talked," both versions of "You"). Great headphone listening, beat heads and electronica nerds alike will find things to love about this one.
