  • Split release from the GRC and the MLB with smokin' remixes of their 2009 white label release of the same name. Up first is Greenwood Rhythm Coalition who funk out "Hollywood Thing," with even more Hancock flavored bass, infectious squiggle synths and shuffling percussion to put that boogie in your body. A excellent way to set the party off on the good foot! The B-side continues the journey into funky spaces with the endless disco vibe of Midnight Lab Band's remix of "Time Waits For No Man." That bassline keeps the groove on edge, while crisp drums and well placed synthwork keeps the mood sweet and fonkay. Quality as usual from Names You Can Trust with cool throwback spinner art reminiscent of those old school NY bootlegs. Recommended.
