  • EVERY musical cue from Friday The 13th Part 3, and yes, the oddly upbeat opening number (aka the “disco theme”) is on the album. Waxwork Records, along with composer Harry Manfredini, dug up the original analog tapes to master the tracks for this outstanding score, and it is now availalbe on 180g double white vinyl. More accurately, the chilling compositions are pressed on “blood spattered hockey mask” vinyl, which salutes the fact that it is in the third installment of the iconic horror franchise that Jason Voorhees first began donning his signature face piece. Honing in even more on finer film details, the inner gatefold sleeve illustration by Gary Pullin depicts the deleted final scene, in which Jason, barefaced, beheads Chris Higgins with his machete. Very impressive stuff (the record, not the beheading), and a real treat for Jason and/or horror fans in general.

    • remastered from original analog tapes
    • gatefold sleeve with Gary Pullin illustrations
    • 180 gram vinyl pressing
    • double blood splattered white vinyl
    • music label: Waxwork Records 2016
