Canada's west coast seems to be blowing up these days. The stony environs of Vancouver, BC seem especially prone to releasing highly sought after psychedelic house bombs with ease. The Mood Hut team has been responsible for some of the best material coming out of the region and they don't appear to be stopping anytime soon. Hashman Deejay (aka Tanner Matt and Ttam Renat) teams up with Future Times for Sandopolis, his second release for the Washington, DC based label and his first full length effort. The album channels the moody vibes of the northern reaches of the Pacific coast with six tracks that float along on a hazy fog of weed smoke and vintage synth sounds. It's not quite as techno heavy as his debut for label, as the producer has pushed forward the more dreamy qualities of his work. Think of yourself in the middle of the dancefloor, eyes shut as the waves of the Hashman's sounds wash over you. That being said Sandopolis is equally at home in the club, on the drive home from a late night, or perhaps best enjoyed as the sun is rising over snow capped mountain peaks. Whatever the case, Hahsman Deejay has got you covered.
