Lab Overview

West Coast style beats compilation from the Hit+Run crew. Hit+Run are mostly known as a globe trotting, screen printing crew that apply their designs to a myriad of materials. They also happen to be in good with a wide variety of skillful beat smiths and musicians from around the world. Since 2009 the crew has been blessing us with releases from their world wide family, kicking off with Kutmah's incredibly deep Sacred Geometry mix. 2012 saw the start of their Road Kill compilation series. It's now up to its fifth volume digitally, what we have here is the first vinyl offering from the series. Road Kill Vol.1 collects 14 cuts from the first installment and offers them up on limited edition black and white haze vinyl. Sure to please beat heads from around the planet, Road Kill has plenty to offer. There are plenty of left coast luminaries including, Mono/Poly, Jeremiah Jae, Mndsgn, Computer Jay, The Gaslamp Killer, Daedelus and J Rocc. Aside from proclaiming the fathomless depths of the Hit+Run Rolodex, there is a lot of quality future funk to dig into. Don't sleep on this limited edition pressing.
