Heavily influenced by the record producing powerhouse of Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff, the groups featured here serve up warm and complex vocal harmonies over mellow soul grooves. Philly Sound stalwarts like Jerry Ross, Norman Harris, Thom Bell and Linda Creed, and Bobby Martin all appear on the compilation. Fourteen tracks in all. Released by Interstate Music Ltd..
