Turn it up! During his all too brief time on this planet the late great James Yancey aka J Dilla created an incredible amount of music that would influence generations of beat makers and MCs. His legacy can be heard everywhere - from classic beats for A Tribe Called Quest, Slum Village, Pharcyde, etc. to his own solo masterpiece Donuts, and numerous posthumous releases. Dillatronic is the latest release culled from his seemingly endless vaults of beats presented by Ma Dukes Yancey and fellow Detroit natives Alien Villainz. The selection of instrumentals here are meant to showcase Dilla's undeniable electronic influences, all the while retaining that signature Jay Dee bounce. This is volume 3 and comes on limited edition clear vinyl with embossed, glow in the dark sleeve. Must have for Dilla fans, recommended.
