Debut album from UK dubstep producer J:Kenzo on Tempa. With many accomplishments under his belt, such as heavyweight releases on Argon and Dub Police, and residency at London's presitgious Fabric night, it comes as no surprise that the J:Kenzo LP goes hard. "Eyes Wide Open" sets it off with a careful balance of tough dubstep rhythms and emotive female vocals of Rhianna Kenny, leading the way for the heavy dread bass badness on "Semtex." Next "No Man's Land" brings on some grimey raps from Footsie, while the rest of the album rounds out with various jungle and garage influence. An impressive debut from someone to watch in the dubstep scene.
