Props if you have the 1978 Greensleeves original pressing of Jah Thomas' Stop Yu Loafing (GREL 3). For the more unfortunate, this official repress with the og Tony McDermott cover will do fine. This was Jah Thomas' debut album and one of the first Greensleeves albums. As you'd expect from a top notch Deejay album, this is full of classic riddims and dub effects, starting with the title track, an awesome Joseph Hoo Kim version of "Skylarking". "Love And Happiness" flips Leroy Smart's version of Bob Marley favorite "Waiting In Vain," and listen further and you'll hear also songs over "Full Up, Answer, Death In The Arena" and more. My personal favorite is "Bicycle Skank" a hype track over a heavily effected "Pretty Looks." Recommended.
